Array of Antique Carved Whale Bone Whales on Plaque

Array of Seven Antique Hand Carved Whale Bone Whales on Mounted on a Later Plaque, seven different species of whales hand carved from large pieces of bone, late 19th or very early 20th Century, later mounted on a wooden plaque in cherry stain (apparently the lid of a box), likely mounted in the 1950s or 1960s. Each whale is well carved with distinctive specific details, and all remain in excellent condition. Each whale is a nice bold size that displays well. The plaque would look great mounted in a frame, or perhaps given a old rope border. It is also tempting to mount each one individually on their own plaques.

Note that the smudging along the right side border is something the camera exaggerated and is not so evident in person.

Each Whale Measures: 4-1/8 to 5-7/8 in Long, respectively
