Appraisals

Jack Fritsch is also a professional Personal Property Appraiser trained and qualified to appraise your tangible personal property for estate, tax, charitable donation, insurance or other purposes. Appraisals are frequently conducted on single items or collections, as well as on entire estate household furnishings.

All appraisals are prepared in full compliance with the Code of Ethics of the American Society of Appraisers and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice as promulgated by the Appraisal Standards Board of The Appraisal Foundation. All appraisals for estate or any tax purpose are in accord with the standards and criteria of Qualified Appraisals as set by the IRS. The standards for our appraisals are maintained and kept current by continuing education with courses and seminars conducted by the American Society of Appraisers, and announcements from the IRS.

All appraisal services are completely confidential. The engagement for an appraisal, all relevant discussions, the resulting report and the original notes from which it was prepared are deemed non-public personal financial information and thus confidential, and are protected as required by the Graham-Leach-Bliley Act and the Federal Trade Commission’s Privacy of Consumer Financial Final Rule 16 CFR Part 313.
