19th Century Seascape with Brig Under Full Sail, British School, circa 1870, an oil on canvas seascape with a square-rigged Brig under sail on the high seas, with several fishing luggers and small craft sailing in background, crew visible on decks, unsigned. Another companion painting by the same hand is also available.

The painting was restored with two small patches quite some time ago in the past, and is in good stable condition with craquelure and only a few scuffs. Mounted in period gilded frame with some craquelure and chipping.
