19th Century Small Sailor’s Woolie with Schooner, signed M.A., circa 1870, a hand-stitched sailor’s woolwork with larboard side view of a schooner under full sail, flying the British ensign off the main gaff, and England’s St. George’s Cross at the main peak, on bold ocean with heavy white wake surging alongside, and under a very dramatic sky with orange patches of storm clouds or perhaps sunset hues, signed in the lower right with the stitched initials M.A.

A great little charmer in a hard to find small size.
The woolie remains in excellent condition.
