Collection of 18th or Early 19th Century Carved Miniature Hands

Collection of 18th or Early 19th Century Carved Miniature Hands, a collection of five hand-carved miniature wooden hands, probably fruit wood, certainly European and most likely Italian, delicately carved with extended fingers and deflected wrists in a beautific pose, mounted for display on a wooden block. Great expressive little hands that were most likely from carved statues of saints or creche figures. Each hand measures around 2-3/4 to 3-1/4 inches long.
