19th Century Sailor’s Folk Art Woolie with Triple Decker Ship of the Line, ca 1860, depicting a starboard side view of a majestic square-rigged triple decker warship under weigh (the lowermost gun deck is almost awash), flying the British White Ensign off the mizzen and an admiral’s long red pennant off the main peak, on deep blue sea under a bright blue sky with stylized clouds, with a whimsical little bow wave and wake. Mounted in the original heavy mahogany frame.
