Antique Nantucket Bathing Beauty Tobacco Silk, circa 1910s-20s

Antique Nantucket Bathing Beauty Tobacco Silk, circa 1910s-20s, a polychrome printed silk panel depicting a period young woman in a full dress style swimming suit, seated at end of a diving board, holding the end of a signal flag halyard. This silk was one of a series enclosed as premiums in tobacco boxes (this large size in cigar boxes). This is one of four that represented Nantucket. Conservation matted and mounted in a maple frame.

The silk remains in structurally sound condition with bright colors, with some age foxing.
