Harry Turner (1877 – 1948) was a Nantucket historian, author, folk artist and editor of the Nantucket Inquirer & Mirror newspaper around 1900. His whales and other folk art very rarely appears on the market.
The whales are overall in very good condition other than an old hairline or repair to the tail of the Bowhead Whale, and a small chip off one fluke on the Right Whale.
