Late 19th Century Impressionist Seascape, signed H Mehz, circa 1880s, an oil on panel seascape with a bow view of a schooner dropping its sails, presumably approaching its mooring, with another schooner visible in background, signed somewhat illegibly H. Mehz in the lower left, and bearing an old Philadelphia label on the reverse.

The painting and carved gesso frame remain in very good condition, but do show its age.
