Folk Art Large Wooden Patriotic Eagle Plaque, circa 1970s, a large hand carved, gilded and painted spread-wing eagle clutching a red, white and blue patriotic shield in its talons and a cobalt blue banner in its beak. Classic Americana in the manner of a ship’s sternboard. Mounted with steel struts on the back to reinforce the joining of the laminated planks and to provide a harness for mounting on a building.
