Harry Turner (1877 – 1948) was a Nantucket historian, author, folk artist and editor of the Nantucket Inquirer & Mirror newspaper around 1900. His whales and other folk art very rarely appears on the market.<\/p>\n
The whales are overall in very good condition other than an old hairline or repair to the tail of the Bowhead Whale, and a small chip off one fluke on the Right Whale.<\/p>\n
