Antique American 38 Star Parade Flag, circa 1877, a fine woven linen small parade flag with 38 stars in a bold “Dancing Star” pattern, enacted in 1877 upon the admission of Colorado. It flew only until 1890 and so is scarce.

Antique American 38 Star Parade Flag, circa 1877, a fine woven linen small parade flag with 38 stars in a bold “Dancing Star” pattern, enacted in 1877 upon the admission of Colorado. It flew only until 1890 and so is scarce.
Flag is in fine to excellent condition with no stains, and only the expected fraying along the edges. It was never mounted on a stick and remains unused (with excess fabric from the roll on the distal end. Flag has been conservation mounted in a custom Bird’s Eye Maple frame.
