$1,500.00

19th Century Seascape with Cutter-Rigged Sloop by N.H. White, 1898, looks American but could possibly be English North Sea or Dutch School, an oil on canvas stormy seascape with a cutter on a close hauled reach fighting heavy seas past a red channel buoy, with top mast and gaff broken, sheets flying in the wind, and with a schooner and another sail faint in the background, signed and dated N.H. White, ’98 in the lower right with an inscription “Capt” or “Copn”.
