Very rare Young's bicycle shop map of Nantucket, by noted folk artist/author/puppeteer Tony Sarg (1880 - 1942), made in the early 1930s, comprising a map with island details and place names, suggested bike touring routes labeled H.A.Y.'s (for "Harvey A. Young's"), an inset showing the location of Nantucket Island, and three snapshots of early cyclists on Nantucket, Remarque and signed in print in the lower left by Tony Sarg. Mounted in a modern black frame. Tony Sarg was a famous personality and folk artist on Nantucket and in new hope, PA. A marionette puppeteer, children's book illustrator and author, folk artist, and creator of the original Macy's Thanksgiving day parade. Young's bicycle shop is still going strong on Nantucket island, now run by Harvey A. Young's grandson Harvey.
